Our mind is the battlefield where our victories and defeats all take place. Satan’s primary way of fighting you is in your thought process. If you do not take authority over your thoughts, Satan will trap you and defeat you by making you believe things are always going to be like they are, or even get worse. The choices we make each day all begin in our thoughts. Soon, our thoughts become our words and our words become our actions. God wants you to know the importance of thinking right thoughts. (Romans 12:2 Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.) Where do we find the power to think good thoughts? (2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.) You have to stop telling yourself that you can’t help it because God has given you the ability to take authority over your thoughts. Much of our thinking is habitual. What we spend the most time thinking about comes without effort. To think positively about life and allow Godly thoughts to take control of our lives takes effort on our part. We MUST suppress the thoughts that come naturally and overcome them with the promises of God. Today would be a great day to start exercising your mind. Train yourself to replace thoughts of defeat with the promises of victory. You day will end differently than it starts if you do this. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
