Doubt kills so many of our prayers. When you ask God to help you through what you are facing, you have to believe that He is able to walk you through. If you ask God to guide you and walk away without waiting for His direction and guidance, you never give God a chance to direct your steps. When you pray, you have to ask, believe, and wait on God. You’re wasting your time otherwise. (James 1:6-7 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.) If you want direction in your life, two things need to happen. You need to ask the right person and you need to have the right attitude. The right person is God, and the right attitude is faith, believing God is able to do what you are asking.
