AUGUST 25th…BE HAPPY BEING YOU!! Many people are not happy simply being themselves, they have to be critical of others to attempt to solidify who they are. Character defamation of others has become the platform by which we attempt to raise the opinion of ourselves. Paul encourages us to get to the point where we are happy being yourself and not comparing yourself with others. It’s the only way for you to gain total confidence. (Galatians 6:4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.) Once you become fully aware of who you are in Christ, you no longer are under the stress of comparing or competing yourself against others. You fully understand you have worth and value to God apart from what you can do or what you have done. Life becomes so much more enjoyable when you can simply be yourself instead of always trying to be better than someone else. Don’t let strife, envy, or jealousy control you.
