No matter what you are facing in life, when you pray about your situation you are never alone in prayer. We ask others to help us pray and trust they will help you talk to God about what you are going through. I receive many prayer requests to be put on our text line to let others know to pray for certain situations. But, the one certainty that we have when we pray is that Jesus also prays with us. What a thought! Jesus is praying for you. When Jesus was talking with his disciples, he told Peter personally that he was praying for him. (Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.) Jesus knew Peter would deny him three times. He knew Peter would crumble under the stress he would face shortly. But, he assured Peter that he was praying for him and that he would recover from his setback and would be a vessel to strengthen other believers. We are so quick to give ourselves the useless, undependable, or loser label because our faith fails sometimes. Jesus tells us that he knows we are human and that he is there to recover us if we fall.
