8-31-18 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY… YOU NEED IT?? GOD HAS IT!! God has given us the tools to make it through each day. They are found in His Word. I read this morning how God has already helped us prepare for the events of the day before we ever start our day. In Isaiah 61 God promises beauty instead of ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise instead of despair. The way you start your day can prepare you for any that day may hold. (Psalm 9:10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.) Start your day reading the Bible, listening to worshipful praise music, spending some time in prayer, and renew your thoughts daily to agree with what God’s Word says. You’ll find that you think right, talk right, and act right regardless of what happens today. You need it? God will give it to you. Pastor Don
