TO COMPLETION!! HE’S STILL WORKING!! I moved to my present residence 2 years ago. I started working on a yard that had only been mowed for several years, with no weed maintenance or fertilizing. It has come a long way, but the process is slower than I want it. I think it’s a great illustration of my devotion this morning. (Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.) We want and expect change instantly in our walk with God. But, this old nature fights to maintain what it has developed over many years. God’s will and desire will be completed in our lives if we continue daily to read His Word and seek God’s will for our lives. Don’t get discouraged because you still find a few weeds in your life, God knows what it takes to get them out. His plan will be completed. Pastor Don
