Things God Doesn’t Know
God knows everything you need. God will provide everything the church needs. The thing God doesn’t know is how to abandon His children.
What We Don’t Know
There are many questions that we can not answer. Why we keep having senseless shootings? Why a child would ever die from a terminal disease? Why I can see starlight that is much farther than 6,000 light years away? Who wrote Hebrews? Why America is the richest nation on the face of the earth but has the highest poverty and crime rate?
One of the attributes or characteristics of God is omniscience. He is all-knowing. God knows everything. Are there things God doesn’t know?
What God Doesn’t Know
1.God doesn’t know a sinner He doesn’t love.
John 3:16-17
For God so love the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosever believeth in Him shouldn’t perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
2. God doesn’t know a sin that He doesn’t hate. He hated Adam’s sin. He hated David’s sin. He hate the sins of Cain, Samson, Abraham, Lot Saul, Jezebel, Herod, Judas, Pilate, Ananias, and Sapphire, and yours and mine.
3. God doesn’t know any way of salvation except the way of the cross. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. There is no other way than Jesus.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
4. God doesn’t know any better time to be saved than today.
2 Corinthians 6:2
now is the accepted; behold, now is the day of salvation
5. God doesn’t know a church He doesn’t want to bless. God’s will is that all His children were telling about His love. His will is for all to be in fellowship in His churches.
John 10:11
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.
6. God doesn’t know a life He can’t change.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore is any many be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
