Complaining doesn’t solve problems, it attracts them. The more you complain the more problems you have and the more you infect others with your problems. Life constantly bombards us with negative opinions and complaining of how situations are. The news today is full of one side complaining about the other and grumbling about every event that takes place. Do you know someone who is always complaining, grumbling about how life has treated them, or wanting others to feel sorry for them. The last person I want to be around each day is the person who is always grumbling about how bad they have it in life. Being a continuous complainer or being around one will drain the last ounce of life out of you. The people I want to be around are people who are thankful to have another day on this earth. Thankful for family, friends, jobs, health, and life itself to enjoy for another day. It is important for us to develop an attitude of gratitude. (Philippians 2:14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15. So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.) You can find something wrong with everything you do in life if you choose to. Grumbling and complaining does nothing positive for you. It doesn’t change the situation you are facing at all. The only thing complaining does is create a breeding ground for future issues. You will never experience life more abundantly until you develop an attitude of thankfulness for where you are today. Life is never as bad as we think it is. Find something to be thankful for today. Pastor Don
