Let’s face it, we all have good days and bad days. There are times when all is going well and we hardly have a care in the world. Then, there are times when it seems that everything that happens is difficult and you are not getting anywhere. On those days when you feel like giving up, just remember God has given you the power to hold on and be stable regardless of what you are going through. (1 Timothy 1:6-7 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self discipline.) Timothy was burned out and ready to quit pastoring. The church has gone through continuous persecution and his stability was shaking. Paul reminded Timothy that God had given him the power and ability to stand even under the hardest conditions. If we have stability, we do what is right even when it is difficult and does not feel good. Be encouraged today that you can do whatever you need to do. In Christ, you’ve got what it takes!
