Have you ever felt like your prayers were not getting past the ceiling? Have you prayed and felt like God was not hearing anything you said? I can assure you we have all been in that same place and some of us will be in that place again. Satan wants to steal our confidence concerning prayer. Satan wants you to think and feel like God is not concerned with you or the petitions you make when you pray. Jesus taught a sure way to make certain our prayers are being heard, not matter how loudly or silently we pray. (John 14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.) A few weeks ago I was going to a business and only had a few minutes difference between the time it would take to make the trip and the time the business closed. My truck, which now has over 300,000 miles on it began to skip. I knew I would never make it to the business on time. I’ve had the same skip before and it was a coil pack on the cylinder head that went out. I simply said out loud, “Lord, this is the last thing I need right now.” The engine immediately quit skipping and has not skipped again to this day. People give me ever conceivable reason the motor stopped skipping, but I will always believe it was a prayer that God heard. Don’t let Satan take your confidence in prayer away. Speak over your life and the needs you have and desire in the strong name of Jesus. God still hears our prayers and our thoughts. God is concerned with what you are facing today. Pray in Jesus’ name, it will make a difference. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
