NOVEMBER 11th…VETERANS DAY!! CELEBRATING SPECIAL PEOPLE!!

Hid among Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas is one of the most important holidays we celebrate in America. Today is November 11 and it is known as Veterans Day. It is a day we honor and celebrate all those who have served our country in war and defended our freedom. As we go about our activities today, we owe a great debt of gratitude to the men and women who have served, fought, and died so we can live in freedom. Men and women with the courage and bravery to march into harm’s way to defeat America’s enemies and defend other country’s freedom. Men and women who love this great nation more than they love their own lives. (Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord you God will be with you wherever you go.) It is by Divine providence that America is where we are today. When we read America’s history we can’t help but realize how much God has blessed and helped those who fought for this country. (1 Samuel 17:47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.) America has been victorious in battle because God has always been on our side. As you go through your usual activities for this Wednesday, November 11, 2020, be sure to take time to thank those who have helped make it possible to live in freedom. Thank our Veterans!! They are SPECIAL PEOPLE! Pastor Don [image: image.png]
