If we were all honest about our lives, we would confess that there are times that life seems to be an endless battle. One battle after another can cause us to live a life filled with fear and frustration. The great news about our battles is that we don’t have to fight them alone. The Bible assures us that God is always there to fight for us. God is fighting your battle, just like he fought King Jehoshaphat’s battle. (2 Chronicles 20:15 He said: Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.) God has not lost a battle yet and you can be certain that you will win also when you fight your battle according to His plan. In the middle of today’s battle, stop worrying and trying to fight alone and start giving thanks to God that He is there fighting for you. God’s Word clearly details the Holy Spirit anointed battle plan to fight every challenge you will face today. Substitute praise and worship for worry and frustration and God will move on your behalf. You can start right now with a prayer…Thank you God that you are always here for me. Help me to be thankful and to praise you in the middle of my battles and help me to remain focused on You.
