God’s will and His purpose will not be thwarted. You must go to His word to learn about His character and the promises made to us.
Unfortunately, God’s word is not full of steadfastness of His people. This grieves the heart of God. God even has to chastise His people. God chastises those He loves. You are not called His son if you have not felt His chastisement. (Hebrews 12:6-8) Furthermore, many are the afflictions of a righteous man. (Psalm 34:19)
Follow after righteousness.
Seek the Lord.
Remember from where God has brought you.
Don’t forget the Rock.
A lot of us are suffering because someone did not care for us. Some are emotionally crippled because someone offended them. God can provide forgiveness and fellowship. He will give you family, faith, and fortune. At the house of the Lord is healing, restoration, freedom from addition and bondage. You can have fellowship with God forever. He will restore you to a place like Eden; out of wilderness and waste.
“Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness,
You who seek the Lord:
Look to the rock from which you were hewn,
And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.
2 Look to Abraham your father,
And to Sarah who bore you;
For I called him alone,
And blessed him and increased him.”
3 For the Lord will comfort Zion,
He will comfort all her waste places;
He will make her wilderness like Eden,
And her desert like the garden of the Lord;
Joy and gladness will be found in it,
Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.
Don’t disregard what God has done for you. Thank Him everyday for His joy and peace. Endure persecution for His sake for the reward of eternal life with Him.
Chisel away everything that does not look like Jesus. Allow God to work on you to remove anything that does not look like the righteousness of Christ.
The revival we seek will only come by prayer.
2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
