We make every effort to make the important things in our life. We will go to work when we really don’t feel like. We attend our children’s events without fail. We move everything off the calendar so we can make doctor’s appointments. We often plan for a year for our next vacation. Why would you not make the same efforts to develop your relationship with God? It is as important as anything else we can do. (Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.) I love to do all things that I mentioned above. There is nothing like being there for children and grandchildren, or, going on a special trip with friends and family. It is also important for me to have that close relationship with God. The devotion verse says we can find God when it becomes our hearts desire to have a relationship with him. This verse follows the verses that tell us God has plans for our lives. Those plans include giving us hope and a future. Plan your week to include 5 minutes a day to communicate with God. Read your Bible, pray a prayer, listen to praise and worship music, make time for the most important thing in your life. You’ll find that when you put God-time in your day that God makes everything fall into place. It’s important! Make it happen today! Pastor Don [image: image.png]
