GOD HEARS YOUR CRY!! HE COMFORTS!!

How many times do you remember your parents telling you that you were going to be okay? It may have been after you struck out your last bat in a little league game, fumbled the ball in an important football game, made a foolish mistake driving the automobile, after the breakup of an important relationship to you, or maybe as small as wrecking your bicycle. The comforting touch and the understanding words of your parents may not have changed the event, but it did let you know that they hurt just like you did. They felt your pain, understood your situation, and were ready to do all they could to help you get over it. And while I may agree that children are being raised to be much softer than our generation was, it is a great example of just how caring our God is toward His children. (Psalm 34:17-18 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. 18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.) When Jesus had finished teaching the Lord’s prayer, the next lesson He taught was about a child and his father. If a child asked for a loaf for bread, what father would hand him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, what father would hand him a serpent? When you suffer, God sees you. When you cry out to him, God hears you. When you are brokenhearted and crushed by life, God saves us. If you are hurting today, Cry out to God and he will hear your call. God already knows what you are going through. Why wait? Pastor Don [image: image.png]
