We face many challenges, hard times, difficulties, and decisions in our lifetime. Many times these mountains in our lives come with no warning. We have two choices when we face these issues, we can let them defeat us or we can overcome them by the grace of God. My devotion this morning is from Joshua 14 when Caleb asked Joshua to Give Me This Mountain. Caleb could see what he was facing, knew the road would not be easy, but he knew he was up for the battle. (Joshua 14:12 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Lord said.) Your mountain in life could be a spiritual mountain, physical mountain, relational mountain, financial mountain, or an emotional mountain. God has given us every thing we need to climb the mountain you face today. He gave us His Spirit to guide us. He has instilled in us the confidence that it can be climbed, and He has promised to be there with us during the climb. No matter what you are facing today, you can overcome it with the help of the Lord. So, give me my mountain today. I am ready to start the climb. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
