The church is challenged like it has not been challenged before. It’s time we step up and have a voice in the communities where we live. The challenge is to get Christians to move out of the comfort zone we have been in over the last years and do something different. We have got to get outside the walls of our building and be a difference maker in the work place, recreational place, political place, and the home. We have to put our faith in God to work in people like only God is able to work and change people that only God can change. I went by to visit a man last Friday who has been sick for the last few weeks and his daughter told me that he thought I was up to something. I am, I’m sharing with him the gospel message and telling him just how much he means to God and how much God loves him. The challenge to the church is real. Our opportunity to make a difference is now. (John 4:35 Don’t you have a saying, It’s still four months until harvest? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.) Let’s get out of our comfort places, let’s stretch ourselves like never before to believe God for miraculous things. Pastor Don
