Have you ever visited a home and thought the people who lived there were not very good house keepers? Do you ever pass by and look at the yard and think people do care about what their lawn looks like? I am one of those who cuts grass every week whether it really needs it or not. I don’t want people to judge me by my lawn. I live in a house that my wife makes certain it is clean, things in place, and ready for unexpected guests. We have seldom had people stop by when our house is not ready to receive them, even though we may think it is not perfect. We are encouraged by my morning devotion to keep our bodies in the same condition because we have a special guest that resides in us. (1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.) I am well aware of the many things people say we should and should not do and how they affect our bodies. I think most of us could do a little better in keeping our bodies in better physical condition than what we do. I wonder how many of us have ever stopped and considered the fact that God resides in our hearts and He has a plan for our house. God’s plan for us involves maintaining spiritual, emotional, and physical health. He wants us to be strong in every way! He wants us to feel good physically so we can serve Him and others, and be able to enjoy the life He has provided for us. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
