We live in such a cruel world. The world thinks you can’t disagree with someone’s ideas, lifestyle, theology, or intentions without there being some hatred attached to it. It is a constant battle between good and evil. No one has or will encounter more problems, hindrances, attempted distractions, and out right hatred than Jesus did while He was here on earth doing ministry. He taught us a great lesson in dealing with problems and doing ministry at the same time. Our tendency is to stop doing what is right while we handle what is wrong in our life. Jesus taught us to continue to do what we know we are supposed to be doing while we deal with the things that seek to distract us from our goals. (Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.) The anointing of the Holy Spirit is what gives us the ability to do good and fight the devil at the same time. If Satan can get us to only fight against him and stop doing the things we need to do, then the devil has you right where he wants you. Psalm 37:3 says that we should trust in the Lord and do good, and we will feed on His faithfulness. The faithfulness of God is something we can all be thankful for! I have discovered that if I continue my study of God’s Word, continue praying, keep my commitments, and help as many people as I can, I experience breakthrough much faster. Helping others while we are hurting is actually a very powerful thing to do. Pastor Don
