YOU NEED SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF!!

Are you a morning person? If not, do you know people that are morning people? I am a morning person. I love to get up early, get my coffee, and then spend time in my study room doing my devotion time. I love me some ME time in the morning while others are still asleep. I know people who are not morning people. The only 7 o’clock they see is 7PM. They don’t want any one to speak to them, bother them, or even look at them in the morning. However, in the evening they are happy, smiling, and a joy to be around. For those people, the best time for their ME time may be in the evening. Whether you spend your time in the morning, the middle of the day, or in the evening, you need some ME time with God. When you spend time daily with God, He will direct your path and you will enjoy your life even more. (2 Chronicles 26:5 He sought God during the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.) Jesus found time for His ME time also. (Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.) You talk about a cramped life, Jesus couldn’t get a minute to himself. Everyone pressed Him to meet their needs, heal their sick, or criticize Him for what He was doing. Jesus needed some ME time with God also. A time to pray, a time to refuel, a time to be renewed. Jump start you day by spending 15 minutes with God. Read your Bible, listen to gospel music, pray and ask for direction and help for today. You will notice the difference in your days. Pastor Don
