We all have things that we are not good at. As adults, we tend to stay away from the things we are not good at and do only things that are our strengths so that our ego won’t be crushed. What part of life is your weakness? Is it talking to people about their souls? Is is visiting those who are in need? Is it lending a helping hand when people are down? Is it when you are sick and others have to step in? Don’t feel bad, every one of us has a weakness and it takes God’s help to make it through. God promised to give us the strength to get through our weaknesses. (2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.) I use this verse every time I pray with a patient in the hospital. I use this verse every time I pray with a family that has lost a loved one in death. I pray this verse every time I pray with couples that are going through difficult times. It is in our weaknesses that God can display His strength to us. We probably wouldn’t receive it if we weren’t in a difficult place in our lives. God supplies every need we have in this life. He supplies our needs in our areas of strength and He supplies our needs in areas of weakness. Whatever your area of weakness is today, rest in the assurance that God is there for you, making a way where there seems to be no way. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
