Walk in the Promises and Protection of Christ
With the knowledge of Jesus and His purpose for us we have been given great and precious promises. We can walk in complete forgiveness and protection of evil.
The greatest years of growth in the Christian church was during World War I and World War II. These years drove America to their knees to seek God’s purpose. It was the highest point of church planting. When Nero was beheading Christians, rather than slowing the growth of the number of followers of Christ it seemed to have a burst of growth.
2 Peter 1-4
In today’s cultural trend, churches have become anthropocentric rather than theocentric. Churches have turned within themselves and made our own needs the center of our focus. We much turn our attention and our focus to God. God must become the center of our focus and purpose. Jesus said however you treat His people is the way we also treat Him. We need to have the full knowledge of who He is and what He has called us to do.
Everyone of us have been called and have a purpose. We become part of His divine nature. Knowing who Jesus is we gladly partake in right living and have His protection from the corruption in this world. Knowledge of Jesus and His nature will free you of all your worldly chains. He will always be with you in the trenches and will go with you to the end of the earth.
Romans 16:19-20
God wants us to be wise about the things of His plan and His nature. He wants us to be unwise concerning the things of evil. He has promised to be with us in all we do and to put the deceiver under your feet. He promised we could put our feet on our enemies head at the fall in Eden. Then went to a cruel death to complete that promise.
Genesis 3:15
God said He would put enmity between the woman and her seed. Women do not carry the seed of conception, so miraculously this seed was from the Holy Spirit. The virgin birth was foretold and freedom from the evil one was promised. We gained freedom from evil through the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Ephesians 2:1
God will remember your sin no more. If God doesn’t remember it, we must walk in our forgiveness. The blood of Jesus that was shed for us, was completely void of any human blood. This blood shed for us was what was necessary to free us from all our sin forevermore.
