When I was a young boy, mother and dad would leave four boys chores to do during the day. They were to be completed before they arrived back home. Some days we would do the chores first thing and then have the rest of the day for personal choices. Other days we would wait until the last minute and run through what we were supposed to do and not do such a great job on them. Then, some days we would not complete the chores and we would make excuses for the uncompleted work. It was seldom our fault that the work was not done, we blamed others. That pretty much sums up the way we do in serving God many days doesn’t it? The Bible tells us that we are responsible for the way we spend our time. (Ephesians 6:5 For each one should carry their own load.) Each of us are given the same amount of time each week. The difference between those who make their lives count and the ones who do not is how they manage their time. God wants to us our lives to do some amazing things, that is what he put you and I on this earth to do. It’s up to you and I to schedule God into our time each day instead of assuming so many duties that He is left out. Look at your schedule today, do you have time for God in it? This is one of the days God has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today is your God-given time, don’t waste it. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
