8-5-18 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY…REMOVE YOUR WALLS!! GOD WILL RESTORE YOU!! The world would be a great place if it wasn’t for people. The church would be a great place if it wasn’t for people. The home would be a great place if it wasn’t for people. There is no where to hide from people and along with relationships come hurts. There will be times when people disappoint and hurt you. Some intentionally and other hurt you unintentionally. The one thing you can not do is build walls to keep people out. Let God restore you. (Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord, because you were called an outcast, for whom no one cares) Take all your old wounds, hurts, pains, and disappointment to God and let him restore you to health. I wish I could promise you that when you get healing from the old that you would never be hurt again, but we deal with people and it’s always possible they could bring you hurt and pain. Learn to take each new hurt to God. Stop building walls to keep people out, you’re really just keeping yourself in. Pastor Don
