I have been watching the latest storm move on shore in the gulf and do its damage. It will soon be blown through and people and cities will begin to pick up the pieces. We have to be thankful for the technology that allows us to know days in advance when and where the storms will hit. Life, however, doesn’t allow work that way. Storms happen without warning and we are forced to face them only with our faith. In these times we learn to call on Jesus. (Matthew 8:24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.) When those sudden events happen in your life, do what the disciples did. They woke Jesus up and told them what was going on. Now, Jesus is not sleeping in your life like He was in the boat. He is ready and waiting on your call and he has the answer to your needs. All storms are different. Some move fast, some move slow and some are stronger than other ones. When storms suddenly happen, call on God. He will see you through. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
