It seems every where we look we see people who need to slow down, people who are out of control, or should I say trying to control their own lives. When things are not going the way we envision them to go, each of us has our own way of taking control of the situation ourselves. The more out of control things become in your life, the more energy you spend trying to control it even more. Or, when things get out of control we fall apart and have a pity party and invite ourselves to attend. When your world is upside down and out of control, you need to slow down. You need to make a control decision in your life. You need to turn the controls over to God. (Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”) It’s your decision. You can run yourself crazy burning useless energy, accomplishing nothing, or you can turn the controls over to God. Turning your future over to God is the beginning of living a stress free life and knowing God is taking care of all things. He is the only one who knows tomorrow, why not let Him lead you. Pastor Don
