Music has always been a part of my life. As a child, my mother sang in a quartet and we traveled to many churches for them to sing. I have always wanted to be able to sing, but I’ve never been blessed with a voice to do so. My scripture reading this morning talked about singing praises unto God. I found an interesting fact about music and songs. Do you know what the number one subject that songs have been written about? Jesus Christ. I was surprised when I read this information. Christianity is a singing faith. Why? Because Christianity is not about religion, it is about a love relationship with God who loves you enough to send His son to die for you. (Psalm 147:7 Sing to the Lord with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp.) You can make a joyful noise unto the Lord and sing praises to him. Worship is simply expressing our love to our Savior and Lord. You can sing in the shower, sing while mowing the lawn, sing while washing dishes or clothes. You can sing while driving to work, buying groceries, or even playing a round of golf. Try it today! Sing praises to God anywhere and everywhere you go. Listen to the words of the song as they flow from your lips. You will find your relationship with God will grow deeper each day as you tell God what He means to you. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
