God has set a plan and a purpose for your life. God wants us to experience a relationship with Him that is so wonderful that you know in your heart that there’s nothing life can give you that is better than what you have in God. Set your heart on God. The world wants us to conform to its level of immaturity. God has commanded that we do not conform to the pattern of this world.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Just like in the natural, the condition of the heart determines the quality of life that we are able to live. The number one health issue around the globe is cardiovascular disease. Guard your heart. It’s essential for you to experience all life has for you. Our hearts are influenced by the things that have happened to us in life. The patterns of this world can harden our hearts.

Proverbs 4:23

Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

The filter of our heart is based on the experiences we’ve had in our life. We approach God through this filter. Our relationship and our conversation with God flows through that filter. However we approach Him, we can approach Him knowing He wants the very best for you.

Let the one who designed you define you.

Psalm 139:13-16

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

See God the right way.

Psalm 139:17
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
They cannot be numbered!

Allow God to heal your heart.

Psalm 139:23
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;

Invite God into your future.

Psalm 139:24

And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
