RESURRECTION HAS HAPPENED!! WHAT’S NEXT FOR ME!!
Easter Sunday is over and the big crowds that churches had attend on that day have reduced back to normal size. Only a few that come out for that special day are willing to stay in church. It’s not that people don’t enjoy going to church, it’s that they have too many other things choking out that desire. (Luke 8:13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for awhile, but in the time of testing they fall away.) Developing root is something that we only accomplish through self-discipline and time. Often, it’s the things you want to do that are the hardest for us to develope root and do. Things like Church, Bible reading, daily prayer time, walking, exercise, or good eating habits are good for us, but they are the hardest for us to stay comitted to. Developing root is up to you. Will you be one of those who the spiritual life is choked out, or will you develop root and stick with it? Easter is over, the celebration of the Resurrection is past, what is next for you? You need to find you a good Bible believing church and stick with it. You and your family will be blessed. Pastor Don
