RECEIVE GOD’S BLESSINGS DAILY!!

We often hear and use an expression to express appreciation for a good deed someone does for us. The phrase is “God Bless You.” I have used it often as a parting word when leaving a person or group of people. The phrase “God bless you” means “good word.” We are expressing the fact that God has some really good things to say to all of us. (John 1:16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.) There are several things that the Bible teaches us about God’s blessings. God blesses us though we don’t deserve it. God blesses us because he enjoys doing it. God promises he will bless our lives if we obey him. God blesses us as a witness to others. God blesses us to bless others. God blessing can be multi-generational. We as parents know what it is to want our children to have the best. As Christmas draws near we are already searching for that perfect gift that will bring a smile to their faces. We often reward our children for doing the right thing or fulfilling theirs chores without complaining. God is our Heavenly Father. As you go through this day, remember God wants to bless you. You don’t have to wait on God, he is ready to use you and bless you now. Pastor Don
