Grace is the power of the Holy Spirit helping us to do things that we are not able to do under our own strength. It is God’s power at work in our lives freely helping us do whatever we need to do. God’s grace is available 24/7, obtained by faith in God, and is the only strength in which we need to try to live each day. God’s grace is something that is difficult for the human mind to comprehend. My devotion verse this morning shows how difficult it is to understand how and why God still loves us. (Hebrews 10:29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?) God’s grace is the power or the Holy Spirit flowing out from the throne of God toward people to save them from their sins and enable them to live holy lives and accomplish God’s plan for their life. Grace is the power of the Holy Spirit available to you to do with ease what you cannot do by striving in your own strength. Grace is God’s power coming into our lives, freely enabling us to do whatever we need to do. God’s grace is always available, but we do have to receive it by faith and refuse to try to do things in our own strength without God. It is His grace that allows us to live in close fellowship with Him. With the grace of God, life can be enjoyed with an ease that produces rest and contentment. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
