PLANS FOR CHRISTMAS?? WHAT’S YOUR PRIORITY??

There have been many changes to Christmas plans this year due to the effects of the virus in so many families. We are all struggling to make time for gathering like never before. Christmas is one time of the year that we have to make our plans carefully. We have so many places to be and so many people who come to our place that we have to plan out our days. Some of our Christmas gatherings have to wait until after Christmas day in order to fit them in with everyone’s schedule. Time is precious during these days and planning is essential for us to meet every obligation. But, God can not be left out of our plans. We have to make our plans to include our prayer and devotion time. When we submit our plans to God, He will always create time for the rest of our activities. What are your plans? Is God included? (Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.) It’s amazing how each year, more and more people leave God out of their Christmas plans. The more blessed we are, the less we remember the Blesser. Family, friends, and fellowship is what makes Christmas so much fun. The Gift of Christmas makes it possible for us to enjoy these days with others. In your plans for Christmas, let’s remember the true Reason for the Season. When we put God first, He will straighten out the rest of the mess for us. Christmas should never be a “HAVE TO” time, it should be a “GET TO” time. Make your plans carefully. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
