How often have you shared a situation in your life and someone responded by saying, “I’ll be praying for you.” That seems life an easy answer to your complex issues, but, it is one of the most powerful means of helping you. Prayer changes things, it even changes the mind of God. In Exodus, God was going to destroy the children of Israel until Moses interceded for them in prayer. God changed his mind because of the prayer of Moses. Prayer is a powerful tool to use to cause people to make changes they need to make in their lives also. We are encouraged to pray for other people. (1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men;) We often get things mixed up when it comes to dealing with people who we want to see change. We need to be reminded that we are not the potter. The potter is God and He alone knows how to fix them. God allows us to see other people’s needs so we can pray for them. We are not to judge or criticize each other, we are to pray and make intercessions for one another. We can not change people, but, we can pray and watch God work. Then, we can rejoice and give thanksgiving for God allowing us to be a small part in His big plan for their lives. Pray! It gets results! Pastor Don [image: image.png]
