IT’S DIFFICULT BUT IT’S WORTH IT!!
The United States of America that we all grew up in is quickly changing to a country that is continually attempting to leave God out of everything we do. Many have given up on their own convictions and morals and are accepting the more common actions and beliefs of the unbelievers. Jesus told us there were two roads we could take in this life. One is broad and leads to destruction and many will travel that road. The other road is straight and narrow and leads to life and few that will choose that road to travel. The broad road has room for evil, bitterness, unforgiveness, resentfulness, and vindictiveness. The narrow road has only room for the Spirit to lead us. We need to check our road map every day and make certain we are traveling on the right path. (Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.) There are people whose past experiences in life influences them to walk in the broad road. There are people whose lifestyle choices lead them to walk on the broad road. Emotions often will take us on a broad way journey by doing what feels good for the moment. But wisdom moves us to make the more difficult decision to take the narrow road. Which road will you choose to walk on today? If you have the willpower to choose the narrow road and leave all of your excess baggage behind, you will soon find peace, joy, and fulfillment that will not fade away. It’s a difficult choice to decide to walk in the narrow path, but it is worth it. Pastor Don
