How many times have you become so interested in something new that it occupied most of your time? Maybe it was a new relationship, a new job, or a new hobby. You were so consumed with something new that it was all you could think about. It became what the Bible calls your treasure. (Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.) It’s simple really, your heart is wherever you put your money and time. For some, that is material things like home, cars, hobbies, or jobs. For others, it is church, community, and helping others.
