I’m in Mobile, Alabama this week with our family and I drove by a house yesterday that had an advertisement for “Physic Reading.” Can you imagine letting someone tell you your future? Can you imagine knowing your future? What would we do differently if we knew what tomorrow and the days ahead held for us? I’m glad I have someone with me that prepares me for what is in my future. (John 16:13 but when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.) God told Noah a flood was coming and how to prepare for it. God told Moses to go to Pharaoh and ask for the release of the Israelites. God does not allow us to wander aimlessly into the future, he prepares us for what is in store each day. There are times when we sense something good is going to happen and there are times that we have feelings of certain challenges that are ahead of us. Part of the Holy Spirit’s ministry is to tell us things that are to come. He knows the mind of God and he knows God’s individual plans for our lives. He will reveal what we need to know, when we need to know it, in order to fulfill the good plans God has for us. Pastor Don
