Fear seems to be the motive of a lot of news being broadcast lately. Fear comes directly from Satan and we need to know we can overcome our fears. The devil is a liar. Let me say that again, the devil is a liar. Satan constantly speaks lies into your heart and places images in your minds that are nothing but lies. You need to know that the thoughts and viewpoints Satan is constantly placing in front of you are nothing more than that, just lies. That’s the reason we need to know the promises of God so we can cast those lies out of our hearts and head and learn to trust the Word of God. I like what David says to us about not believing the lies of Satan. (Psalm 27:1-2 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? 2. When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who stumble and fall.) Fear seems to be rampant in our society. What are you afraid of? pandemic? rejection? failure? your past? your future? loneliness? embarrassment? getting old? the dark? heights? living? dying? The list is endless when it come to what people are afraid of. BUT, you can trade your fear and paralysis for a Spirit of power and excitement. God tells us to fear not for I am with you. Make a determination today that you will not be afraid, you will not listen to the lies of the devil, that you will trust the Word of God, that you will stand victorious over all your fears.
