CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS!!

When is the last time that you have been angry? Several things in our daily routine can stir up our feelings of anger. Traffic jams and road rage, bad call in a ball game or players and coaches making decisions you don’t agree with, children who won’t get out of bed and cause you to run late, long lines in the grocery store and very few cashiers, lies that people tell or being left out of conversations, vehicles that fail at all the wrong times or parts that won’t go together easily, people who won’t listen or do things you have to re-do, and the list goes on and on and on. Everyone of us have anger from time to time, but the important thing is to understand it and to know how to handle it. (Ephesians 4:26-27 In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27. And do not give the devil a foothold.) Anger begins as a feeling, then it manifests itself in our words and our actions. You feel something and then you say something. Being angry is not sin, feeling that emotions run through you is not sin, but what you do with those feelings is what determines the quality of your day and many times your influence with others. All anger has the same effect on your life. Keeping it locked inside does nothing but make you a ticking time bomb. If you struggle with anger, ask God to help you process it through and bring CLOSURE to it. Your life will be better or bitter depending on your ability to let anger go. The choice is yours.
