Citizens of Heaven
We are citizens of a heavenly country and are bonded with our great God and other worshipers of Him. We are His whosoever.
This country needs revival. Our constitution says we are united in a common set of beliefs and goals. However, today we seem more divided than ever. As Christians, we are citizens of heaven and are bonded with our great God and other worshipers of Him.
In the garden of Eden, sin slithered into the human condition and caused estrangement from God. Sunday mornings are a time for believers to join together to praise and be present with God. He sees us corporately as well as individually. He is aware of our troubles as well as when we are persecuted in His name.
Moses went to God for the people. God became angry with His people and Moses interceded for the people for mercy. God gave 10 commandments as a code of conduct and obedience to Him. However, they continuously failed and fell away from relationship with God. God made covenants and promised to never turn away but always provide a way to return to Him.
Know Who You Are
God always provides a path of repentance. He will always allow you to get past your past. He can make things new and create a new path for you. Be reminded that you are a child of God. He loves you and caress about you. He has a plan for your life. His spirit will wash you by the blood shed for you. We are His whosoever.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER will believe in Him will have eternal life.
Know Whose You Are
We are His. He watches over us. You can believe He is aware of all our cares. All our days are in His hands. We can declare to serve Him in anything because we are His. As a citizen of His kingdom He has called us righteous. And with righteousness comes responsibility.
Tragedy seems to bring people to their knees. People will pray. Everybody wants to be in church during times of uncertainty. Satan attempts to separate God’s people. He’ll use disease, tragedy, distraction. When we are isolated, we lose our identity. We can become comfortable in our isolation and find ourselves in a life we never meant to be a part of.
Revival will bring in order and clear out the chaos. Returning, restoring, refilling ourselves in revival with believers will strengthen us and turn chaos into promise of life as citizens of Heaven. We gain confidence in who we are and whose we are as children of God.
