Children are notorious for wanting the same book read to them over and over, watching the same movie a hundred times, and playing the same game until the pieces are worn out. The repetition isn’t boring to them and they are excited every time they watch and can quote every line. Children of God ought to be just as excited to hear the Christmas story told one more time. The story of Christmas should come alive in our hearts and we should be eager to hear it over and over. I know as Pastors we all search for new “messages” on Christmas, thinking the congregation already knows last years content. The real truth is that we (Christians) should be eager to hear the story of a Savior being sent to save us from our sins everyday. It should never get old to us! Matthew 18:3 And he said, Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Tell me the Christmas story again!! It never gets old!! Pastor Don
