CHEER UP!! IT’S NOT THAT BAD!!

My devotion this morning really spoke to the heart of so many doom & gloom days. We live in the same environment and speak the same words about our situation until we begin to believe life is always going to be like it is now. The “Stalker” as pastor called him yesterday has us exactly where he wants us. (Psalm 42:5 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my Lord.) How easily we forget that God knows everything about us. He knows our rising up and our lying down. Stop talking about how bad you have it today and talk to the one who, even though He has heard every gripe and complaint you’ve made, still stands ready to help change you and your situation. Be thankful for life itself. Be grateful for everything God has blessed you with. Why we start being thankful instead of being so full of complaining, we will see things begin to turn around.
