How often have you had someone say, “Call me anytime?” Few people mean it literally when they make this statement. I’ve said that to many people through the years. I had one church member with alzheimer’s that called me quite often during the night. The invitation got pretty difficult when it came to carrying it out. I’ve had one friend in life, Houston Barkley, whom I could call or he could call me anytime and know there would be a response. God has given us that same awesome invitation. (Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.) You can call, knock. or ask anything of God at anytime of the day or night. You can talk to God when no one else will answer your call. I have went without help because I would not want to disturb my friends in “off” hours. I did not want to bother them with my needs. God has given us a blanket invitation to call on Him because He cares about you. What an awesome invitation! Call on me anytime. I will hear you. I have what you stand in need of.
