SEPTEMBER 10th…ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE!! We are doing a home renovation to one of the houses I grew up in. The ideas we have for the changes have come from programs we have watched on TV. The changes others have made to their homes has influenced our thinking in what we want for our home. This concept may work well for home renovation, but it doesn’t work so well with our lives. We need to enjoy the life we have been given by God to live. We need to enjoy the things we have been allotted and appointed by God to experience in this life. (Ecclesiastes 5:18-19 This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the dun during the few days of life God has given them, for this is their lot. 19. Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil, this is a gift of God.) Enjoy the life you have been given. Take your appointed life, your personality, your strengths and weaknesses, family, jobs, opportunities, physical qualities, abilities, talents, gifts, and your uniqueness and make the most of them.
