Pretty leaves and long branches are not what produces fruit on the tree. Healthy roots running deep into nutritious soul is what produces healthy fruit. The same is true in serving God. The deeper you grow into the Word of God, the more fruit you will produce. (Ephesians 3:17 So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love) You can’t do anything effectively for God until you fall in love with His Word. It is only when we grow deep into God’s Word that God is able to reveal to us the direction He has for our lives. If you want to become more than a leafy branch, grow your roots deep into God’s Word. Receive His love, learn to love and value yourself, and you will begin to produce better fruit in your life. Pastor Don
