WAIT!! WAIT ON GOD!!
If something is wrong, it is our human nature to want it fixed. If we are told we have a medical condition, we want it remedied as soon as possible. People of action jump right in when there is a problem. Many times our haste to get something done only makes the situation worse instead of better. We have to make certain that our aggressiveness in dealing with situations is not independent of God’s direction. A lot of things get blamed on God, when God had nothing to do with their actions. God has the answer to whatever is wrong in your life. Wait on God to work in your behalf. (Psalm 25:3-5 No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. 4. Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. 5. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.) I am reminded today of the importance of maintaining an attitude of waiting on God. I am not suggesting inactivity but rather the highest form of spiritual activity, that of trusting God in every area of life. Wait on Him for strength, healing, wisdom, and opportunity. Wait on God to reveal Himself to you and to show you His amazing favor. God is waiting to be good to us, and He looks for those who are waiting on Him. Always remember that God loves you unconditionally and is with you at all times. Pastor Don
