We make a lot of decisions without putting a lot of thought into them. We buy on whatever emotion is present and it’s often not a the best decision we could make at the time. All of us have had things that we wanted that we thought we had to have at that very moment. Some of the things I wanted was just to say that I had one before someone else got it. I may even put off getting some things that were more important just to be able to make that purchase. It was all about me right now with no thought of me and tomorrow. Most of those items value didn’t last very long and were soon replaced by something else. God’s timing in our lives is always perfect. What we need, He will provide at the right time. (Psalm 31:14-15 But I will trust in you, Lord; I say, You are my God. 15. My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.) We would enjoy our lives so much more if we could put this verse in our hearts and remind ourselves daily that our time is in God’s hands. We often complain about things we are facing and want them out of our way, instead of thanking God for another day and knowing that we are not walking through it alone. If God chooses to delay the desire of my heart another day, it must be for my good. Thank you Lord for another day of life and I will not be upset because I do not get all I ask for today. I will trust in your timing Lord. Make me what you want me to be. Pastor Don
