I am often asked the question, “What do you think about ___?” When was the last time someone asked your opinion on something? The question is often asked just so they can open the door to share their opinion, but, it is a question that we answer more often than we think. When is the last time we asked that question about ourselves? Your opinion of yourself is like a SELFIE photo you carry in your wallet. How you see yourself is one of the greatest factors in what you are able to accomplish in life. The Bible tells us that walking in fellowship with God is affected by what we see in ourselves. (Amos 3:3 Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?) You were created by God and you have a special place in HIS family. You may only see what is wrong in your SELFIE and what is out of place, but, God sees what you are becoming and He will continue to work in bringing good changes to your life. You may not be all you should be right now, but you are a new creation in Christ Jesus and God is working daily on those changes. Instead of looking on how far you have to go, focus on how far you have come. Come into agreement with God today and learn to see yourself as God sees you.
