Have you ever met a person who refused to let anything get them down? They were able to see the possibilities when there didn’t seem to be one? They refused to accept the report regardless of how bad or serious that it might be? That’s the kind of person God wants us to be. God wants us to place what ever we have into His hands and allow Him to work in ways that are higher than our ways and do things beyond our capabilities. When God called Moses to lead the Children of Israel out of bondage, he gave God ever excuse he could think of. Moses told God he was not adequate for the challenge. God asked Moses what was in his hand? Moses said a staff (stick) that I use to herd sheep. God said throw it on the ground, implying he was giving it to God, and God empowered that stick. Moses found endless potential in the things he gave to God. Moses used that stick to roll back the sea so the people could cross and elude their pursuers. (Exodus 14:15-16 Then the Lord said to Moses, Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16. Raise your staff (stick) and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.) If we are willing to give God what we have, no matter how little and ineffective it may be in our eyes, God will use it to do things for you that you never imagined. You see, it is not our abilities God desires, it is our availability that He wants. God wants us to see possibilities, not problems. So many spend their life saying, “If only I had,” I could do something worthwhile. Don’t let your potential rest in your “if only.” Give what you have to God and watch the endless potential of God’s power go to work for you. Pastor Don [image: image.png]
