How many have spent the night feeling like they don’t have a friend in the world? Even before the sun rises and you are fully awake, Satan is already trying to spoil your day. He’s attempting to show you everything bad and keep you blinded to all the good things going on in your life. Satan wants us to feel like our situation is permanent, there is no hope, and your faith in God is fruitless. (Psalm 6:6-8 I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. 7. My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes. 8. Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping.) The last thing Satan wants is for you to begin your day with joy in your heart and great expectations in your mind. We must understand that selfishness, doubt, fear, bitterness, resentment, and all self-centered thoughts come from Satan. God wants us to know that He has been there through the night. God has seen your tears and heard your cry. The sun will be shining soon and with it will come the day God has created for you to enjoy. Get up, have your coffee and prepare yourself for the day God has for you. God is good!!
