We have accepted the freedom and release from the power of darkness. Our life is now hid in the life of Christ. We have passed from the old creature to a new and chosen people of God. Through the spirit of adoption we are the children of God and are strengthened and sustained by His power.

The life of Job allows us to see there is an enemy of our soul. He is our adversary looking for opportunity to steal, kill, and destroy us. God placed a hedge around Job’s spirit that did not allow Satan to possess or overtake Job’s faith in God.

Certain areas of the world have a snake line of which the reptiles will not pass. We have a blood line that the devil cannot overtake. Hallelujah! We have the power through Christ to resist and rebuke Satan.

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Every christian person lives above the snake line. We live above fear and despair. We have been delivered from the power of darkness and called into the light. God wants us to abide  in the glorious light.

Revelation 3:10-11
Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Do what God has called you to do. Bear fruit by abiding in Jesus. Choose to live right by the grace given you by God.
